Gazelle Medeo T9 City – Gazelle’s Most Affordable Ebike

The Gazelle Medeo T9 City builds on the previous generation with hydraulic disc brakes for increased stopping power. Setting this ebike apart from other Gazelle ebikes is the price point The Medeo T9 City comes in at $2,299 making it an attractive option if you’re looking for a mid-drive ebike.

It comes in two colors, mallard blue gloss featured in the video below and light olive (pictured above). The highlights of this bike are the ultra-quiet Bosch Active Line mid-drive motor, paired with a 9- speed Shimano Alivio derailleur and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. The Bosch Active Line motor has 40 Nm of torque, capable of speeds up to 20 mph (Class 1 ebike).

The included rear rack not only serves as a great spot for cargo, but it also cradles the 400 watt-hour battery. The low step frame makes this an accessible ebike and the 47.2 weight (excluding the battery) makes it lighter than many other hub drive ebikes around this price point.

For commuters, the bike is also equipped with fenders, chainguard, Schwalbe Big Apple tires, and integrated front and rear lights. An SR Suntour suspension fork will help soak up any bumps along the way.
