Black Friday is still the best time of year to buy an ebike from a direct-to-consumer brand, but not every “sale” is a real one. Some brands inflate the “was” price, and some Black Friday prices are the same ones we already saw on Labor Day. We cover ebike sales all year, from Memorial Day through Labor Day, so we will tell you plainly when a Black Friday deal is actually better than what came before and when it is not.

What Makes a Black Friday Ebike Deal Worth It?
A discount off MSRP does not tell you much on its own. When each sale goes live, we compare it with what that brand offered earlier in the year and call out three things: whether the price is genuinely lower than earlier sales, whether the bundled accessories are ones you would actually use (racks, fenders, and suspension seatposts count for a lot more than a phone mount), and whether a discount code stacks on top.

Ride1Up Black Friday Sale
2026 status: Live now. Ride1Up’s “Early BF Deals” take up to $600 off select ebikes, and buying a bike unlocks a discount on a matching accessory at checkout. Ride1Up says these prices will stay the same throughout November and it will price-match through Cyber Monday, so there is no reason to hold out for a lower price later in the month.

How it compares to last year: The 15Ah Portola Lite at $895 is $200 below last year’s Black Friday Portola price, though last year’s deal threw in the suspension seatpost, seat and mirror for free. This year the seatpost is 30% off instead. The Revv1 DRT discount doubled from $300 to $600. The Prodigy V2 is not part of the early access sale.

2026 status: Live now. Tenways’ “Black Friday Early Access” sale takes up to $600 off three ebikes. No code is needed, and Tenways has not published an end date. Tenways also runs a spin-to-win on its site that it says adds up to $100 in extra savings.
Our pick for the best deal: The AGO X at $1,899 is the one we would point most people to. You get an 80 Nm Bafang mid-drive with a torque sensor, a Shimano 10-speed drivetrain, a 504 Wh removable battery, a SR Suntour lockout fork and hydraulic disc brakes. The $600 cut is the biggest in Tenways’ sale.

When Do Ebike Black Friday Sales Start?
Earlier than you might think. This year, Black Friday falls on November 27 and Cyber Monday on November 30, but the sales start well before that. Last year, Euphree started its holiday sale on October 20, and Aventon opened early access sign-ups in the third week of October. Most of the big direct-to-consumer brands had their sales running by early November, well before Black Friday itself.
That timing matters. Many brands treat November as one long sale, and the price you see in early November is often the lowest you will get. Waiting for Black Friday or Cyber Monday rarely pays off with these brands, and popular sizes and colors can sell out.
Tips for Getting the Best Ebike Deal
Check the real regular price, not the crossed-out MSRP. If a bike has been on sale for most of the year, the Black Friday “discount” may be smaller than it looks.
Price out the bundle. A free rack or suspension seatpost is worth real money if you would have bought one anyway. A free phone mount, less so.
Look at the brand, not just the price. Warranty, parts availability, and support matter more once the box is open. Our top ebike brands page is a good place to start.
Ask about price protection. Some brands have refunded the difference when a price dropped further during the sale. If you buy early and the price falls, it is worth contacting the brand.

Will ebike prices drop lower on Cyber Monday?
Usually not. Most direct-to-consumer brands run their sale through all of November, and the prices that launch early tend to be the final prices for the season. Some brands have offered price-match guarantees specifically so you can buy early without worrying. If you do find a lower price later, reach out to the brand and ask for an adjustment.
Do Black Friday ebike deals include free shipping?
Nearly all the major direct-to-consumer brands, including Lectric, Ride1Up, Aventon, and Rad Power Bikes, offer free shipping to the contiguous United States. Shipping times often stretch as December gets closer, so order early if the bike is a gift.
Should I buy now or wait for the 2027 models?
If value is the priority, buy now. Black Friday is when brands clear out the current year’s inventory, and next year’s version often brings only small changes. Some brands, Lectric included, go a long time between refreshes, so do not assume a new model is coming.
What if the bike goes on sale for less after I buy it?
Check the brand’s price guarantee terms before you buy. Several brands have refunded the difference when prices dropped during the holiday sale window. This year, Ride1Up says it will price-match its early Black Friday prices through Cyber Monday.
Can I use a discount code on top of a Black Friday sale?
Sometimes. Each brand sets its own rules, and they can change from one sale to the next. We will note in each brand section whether codes stack once the 2026 sales are live.
